Peacefully set, it enjoys uninterrupted views overs fields towards the fells. There is excellent walking from the doorstep and a pub serving food is a short stroll away. The historic market town of Appleby (3 miles) is well served with a good selection of shops, golf, fishing, riding, leisure centre and station on the scenic Settle to Carlisle Railway. An excellent base to explore the contrasting, but equally spectacular scenery of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park, both of which are within 30 minutes’ drive.
